Can I use the Wii Fit to weight myself?

Hiya, I was just wondering if it's best to weigh on a wii fit board? Is it accurate? Also how do I tone iv lost weight and inches my I still fell flabby in certain areas I'm going the gym from Tuesday so I'm hoping it will help? Thanx, Manda

Hi Manda,

It doesn’t matter if you use the wii fit to weigh yourself or another set of scales as long as you always use the same source to ensure standardisation in measuring. All scales can be slightly out but as long as you always use the same device then the variable is eliminated and you can still see the incremental weight loss effectively.

Going to the gym and doing strength-training and/or strength focused exercise classes like bodypump, are an excellent way to tone up the whole body. If you get a program from one of the exercise professionals at the gym then they can tailor your program to target all the areas you want to change.

Also, have a look at the ‘home exercise articles’ I have written that can be found in the Resources area of the website. These give descriptions and photos for some home-based toning exercises for all parts of the body so you could do them at home or at the gym.

Hope this helps,

Kelly
