How much weight have you lost and how long did it take?

I started the change of lifestyle on the 4th July 2020 weighing 17st 7lbs245lbs111.1kg, I now weigh 10st140lbs63.5kg.

What prompted your decision to lose weight?

I saw a picture of myself during lock down and was shocked at how much weight I was carrying. I have a gorgeous granddaughter and wanted to be able to run around with her.

How did you hear about Nutracheck?

My daughter and goddaughter recommended it, as they were both using it.

Has your weight stayed fairly consistent over the years, or have you always had to manage it?

I put weight on in my 40's but then piled it on in lockdown. I have had a weight issue since my late 20's but it definitely increased in my 40's.

How easy was it to fit the changes you made into your lifestyle?

Once I faced the reality of how unhealthy and overweight I was and actually admitted to myself and my family, I can honestly say it has been life changing and relatively easy. Seeing the scales decrease weekly, getting fit and using the app to track both my calories and my exercise made it so easy.

What was the most difficult thing?

Admitting to myself that I wasn't happy with my size and being able to stop fooling myself that as I was getting older I wouldn't be able to lose weight and get fit.

How do you feel now compared to before?

Amazing – I have my sparkle back. I love tracking my calories – I eat what I want and still love my food. I am now an avid walker and love clothes again.

Any notable milestones to report?

Each stone off was great but reaching the 5 stone weight loss and celebrating with my family. I now use the app to successfully maintain my weight and would recommend it to anyone.

What 3 tips would you give to anyone who has weight to lose?

  1. Admit to yourself the reality of what you need to do.
  2. Be honest with the calorie counting on the app.
  3. Start today and do not use the word DIET – it's a lifestyle change.
