How much weight should I expect to lose each day?

On average, how much weight loss should I expect a day, so far I have lost a total of 2 and a quarter pounds in 2 days.

Hi

When you set up your account you will have decided what weekly weight loss you want to achieve (we allow you to lose up to 2 pounds a week which is a sensible, sustainable amount). However, this weight loss is never totally consistent from week to week, and especially at the beginning may be lost very rapidly indeed, with in some cases up to half a stone or even more being lost in the first week depending on your starting weight (heavier people will lose more). After this, however, it should level out and sometimes there may be weeks when your weight doesn’t drop at all even though you’ve stuck to your calories rigidly.

Over time though ON AVERAGE, you should still lose weight at your chosen rate, as long as you don’t bust your calorie allowance.

I hope this helps!
