How can I lose those last few stubborn lbs?

Hi, before joining nutracheck I was a member of Slimming World. I have managed to lose the majority of weight but these last 7 pounds wont go. I count my calories, my only downfall is fruit, I do love it. Can fruit cause you not to lose weight! Stupid question but cannot think what to do. My daughters wedding is in August.

Hi, thanks for your query, and it’s not a stupid question! Basically your fruit intake can’t be causing you to struggle with your weight loss unless it is taking you over your daily calorie allowance. Are you absolutely sure you are counting all your fruit consumption into your daily food diary? It might also pay to weigh fruit for a while as it’s sometimes difficult to guesstimate which size of fruit is small or large! I’m guessing that your difficulty losing the last few pounds is less to do with fruit or anything else in your diet, but more to the fact that it simply is harder to lose those last few pounds. Perhaps you could increase your exercise a little and make sure you are eating a good 2 portions of lean protein a day which will help to fill you up. If you want to (but only of you can do so without feeling hungry, you might want to take your calorie intake down to around 1200 cals a day. Patience is important too, but good luck, there's still plenty of tome between now and August!
