Is there any truth in this claim?


Is there any evidence that if you eat pasta then drink tea it will lower the cals by 35%? One of the members read it in a magazine but we are sceptical.

Oh wouldn't it be lovely!! But, yes I think it's right to be sceptical! In short I know of no evidence that drinking tea reduces the amount of calories you absorb from pasta or any other food for that matter. Tea can however reduce the absorption of iron from foods eaten alongside it, so I'm wondering whether this might be what was read, or what the magazine meant to say?
