What am I burning for a 4%incline at 6km h walking?

Hi there, I am currently using my treadmill and cannot find the right information in the exercise list for the calories I would burn. Basically I am walking at 6km/hr with a 4% incline. Could you help me with this please? Do you need to know my personal details to give the right per hour calorie amount? Thanks, Nikkie

Hi Nikkie,

We provide a variety of inclines and speeds in the exercise diary of the website but not all, so for the specifics you are asking for we need to work it out. Essentially, your calorie output would be similar to a 3.5% incline with a 3.5mph speed (given that 6km/hr = 3.72mph) but obviously you are using a bigger incline so you would be looking in the region of 351 calories per hour.

Hope this helps,

Kelly
